    Secret Disney World trip planned in Aug. No one in family knows except for me. I would like to present the box Magic Bands wrapped up for the reveal. I want to check in 1st then present, will the check in staff need to see the MBs unwrapped beforehand?

    Hi Clint!

    So exciting to help out a fellow Alabamian.   I'm surprising my kids today with a Disney vacation.  We leave in just a few hours and they have no idea.  I know they are going to freak out and I can't wait to capture it on video.   I hope you do the same, you won't want to miss your mouseketeers precious reactions when they find out they will be vacationing at the Most Magical Place on Earth. 

    Every time I have checked into a Disney Resort hotel they do ask to see the MagicBands in order to verify they are the correct bands.    Maybe you could show them to the Cast Member and then place them in a gift bag or something that would be easy to wrap them up with.  I bet the Cast Member may even have a supply of complimentary Mickey Mouse stickers you could use to adorn the bag.  You can surely still pull off the surprise even if they do need to verify your MagicBands.
