Ahoy, Yen! Thanks so much for sailing by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you have an amazing Eastern Caribbean cruise coming up, and your stop at
Secret Sands in St. Thomas is sure to be a highlight!
You’re absolutely right...children under the age of 3 are free for this excursion, which is why you weren’t able to select her name during booking. When little ones are included at no cost, their names will appear grayed out, but they’re still welcome to join the rest of the family on the adventure. It can look a little confusing, but rest assured, she’s all set to tag along to that beautiful beach day!
And what a beach day it will be! This port adventure includes beach chairs, sand toys, and even a cooler stocked with drinks (and possibly a little rum punch for the grown-ups). With soft white sand and clear turquoise water, it’s definitely one of those picture-perfect spots.
Since you’re traveling with a toddler,
Disney Cruise Line offers complimentary items like diaper disposal units, bottle warmers, sterilizers, cribs, and playpens; just let your stateroom host know what you need. You can also borrow a stroller from Guest Services onboard, which is super helpful for getting around the ship.
And if you’re hoping for a little adults-only time (I highly recommend
Palo Steakhouse for a special night out), check out the
“it’s a small world” nursery! It’s available on every ship and welcomes little ones from 6 months to 3 years old. The nursery is staffed with caring, trained Cast Members, and you can reserve time in advance or once you’re onboard.
Wishing you the most magical vacation, Yen. Enjoy your day in paradise!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
