Hi. This is our second year coming to Disney World but our first year staying on Disney Property and using the dining plan. I wanted to know if there is a charge for the Mousekeeping and how much should we tip at our table service meals for a party of 3?

    Dear Demi,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

It's exciting that you have decided to try staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and trying the Disney Dining Plan! I know that you are going to love the immersive experience that you have planned!

There is no charge for housekeeping in Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms, but a daily tip for excellent service is always appreciated by the hard-working Cast Members.

In terms of gratuity for your Table-Service meals, it is similar to what you would pay outside of Walt Disney World Resort, and recommended gratuity amounts will be indicated on your check and are based on the cost of what you would have paid if you were paying for your meal in cash. You may of course pay your server what you choose for a tip, but of course for excellent service my family likes to tip generously to show our appreciation for the hard work of the server.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
