Hi Desiree,
Thanks for coming back to the Moms Panel with your question. One of the best things about dining at the Walt Disney World Resort is that almost every restaurant is kid friendly. We brought our daughters when they were that age and my grandson too, and they really enjoyed character dining. I think breakfast is your choice meal because your child is rested from a good night's sleep and is ready to laugh and play with Mickey and Friends. My two favorite places for character breakfasts are Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort and breakfast with Winnie-the-Pooh at the
Crystal Palace. The little kids seem to love all the furry, cuddly characters from the Hundred-Acre Wood. Both restaurants are buffet style so you and your child can choose from your favorite foods. Don't forget to pop some Mickey waffles on your plate, too!
A lot of the quick service restaurants are ideal for little ones because of the less formal atmosphere. Some of the locations have outdoor seating so if your child is not interested in sitting down, there's plenty of space for them to move around. Two of these restaurants that come to mind are at Disney's Hollywood Studios; Fairfax Fare and Backlot Express. Depending on where you are staying, the resort pool bars are also a great choice. You can grab a meal and then sit by the pool to enjoy some fun in the sun.
I hope you enjoy making Disney memories with your child. If there's anything else you need, please let us know.
Be Magical,
Leanne T.
