Hello moms! This will be our second with just a few months apart but the first cruise was in July. This one will be in November, we are very excited to go but I want to make it will still be warm to get in the water in castaway cay. Thank you

Randi, welcome aboard! I'm so happy to hear that your first cruise with Disney was such a great experience that you couldn't wait to book another sailing this year! How fortunate that you're able to enjoy two cruises with Captain Mickey in the same year!

We have sailed with Disney Cruise Line in November for the past two years and look forward to sailing again this November as well. Each fall we've enjoyed fabulously warm weather in the Bahamas and Caribbean. The average temperatures at Castaway Cay in November tend to have highs in the low 80's each day. Of course, you'll want to check the weather forecast the week before you set sail, but you can expect to have nice summer-like weather. We've enjoyed swimming in the water at Castaway Cay each fall, and that is saying a lot because I don't tend to get in the water if it's chilly! So, I give it two thumbs up for great temperature from my experiences! And did you know that onboard, the pools onboard are heated once the water temperature drops below 75 degrees? That means it's always the perfect temperature to go for a swim on deck!

I do recommend still packing a light jacket or sweater for each family member though. No matter what time of year we sail, it does tend to get a bit chilly in the evenings out on deck as it can be breezy. I also get chilly in the Walt Disney Theatre and in the restaurants at night, so I always have an extra layer with me just in case.

I hope that puts any cold weather fears to rest as you continue planning for your cruise this fall, Randi! Stop back again if I can help with any other questions before you set sail!
