Hi Ayal,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my favorite places to stay at
Walt Disney World Resort. I love how the vibrant colors, landscaping, and laid-back island music instantly transport me to the tropics, my second favorite vacation spot (after Disney World, of course!) My kids are big fans of the Fuentes del Morro Pool and rank it in their top three pools on property. I can’t wait for you and your family to soak up the same island vibes and magic.
I completely understand your concern about dining at
Sebastian’s Bistro. The menu is served family-style with a prix fixe format and celebrates Caribbean-inspired flavors. But rest assured, in my experience, Disney dining locations, especially at the resorts, are very accommodating to young palates. While the standard offerings may be a bit adventurous for some preschoolers and toddlers, it’s not uncommon for restaurants to offer simpler substitutions like buttered noodles or plain chicken upon request.
If you’re unsure whether your kids are ready for the flavors of the islands, I suggest stopping by the host stand at Sebastian’s Bistro a day or two before your reservation. A friendly Cast Member can walk you through the current menu options and let you know what alternatives may be available for your little ones. That way, you’ll have all the information you need and still have time to
modify or cancel your reservation if it’s not the right fit.
And Ayal, don’t forget to swing by
Banana Cabana while you're there! It’s one of the best spots to unwind with a beachy vibe and enjoy a tropical drink like the Goombay Smash, Piña Colada, or the refreshing Tropical Island Iced Tea. It’s a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing while the kids play or after a fun-filled day in the parks.
I hope this helps you feel more confident about your upcoming dining plans! If you have any more questions or need help planning other parts of your stay, come back and
send me another question directly here at planDisney.
Wishing you a magical (and flavorful!) vacation,
Brent
