Hi there William,
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're a Disney vacation planner after my own heart, and that you have most excellent ideas. I got to enjoy a Seats & Sweets Fireworks Dessert Party in Magic Kingdom with a few of my Disney girlfriends, and it was one of the most magical experiences I've ever had at Walt Disney World. One of my favorite parts was having an uncrowded, relaxing area to sit down and enjoy watching
Happily Ever After.
I mean.... a castle, fireworks, and a delicious dessert buffet?? Come on! That's pretty hard to beat. You're going to absolutely love it!
I'm guessing you are checking the same place I am, the
reservation availability calendar, which only displays available dates 60 days in advance. So there are no guarantees until we can see your October vacation dates released. But with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust... we can make a fairly educated guess!
Disney does like to offer the
Seats & Sweets Dessert Party on nights when they will be presenting the Happily Ever After fireworks show. The upcoming dates you are seeing on that calendar which show Seats & Sweets as NOT available, correspond to dates that Magic Kingdom is closing early for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP). So if we use that rule of thumb, you will likely see Seats & Sweets Fireworks Dessert Party offered on October 20, 21, and 22, as there are no MNSSHP events scheduled on those dates.
William, I'm sending pixie dust your way and hope that all of your plans fall into place like you are wishing! Please send me another
message at planDisney if I can answer any additional questions.
And don't forget to eat a mini-cheesecake, in my honor.
The magic is calling!
Tami
