How are seating arrangements done aboard the ships for the evening shows? Is it first come first serve? Do you need to reserve seats ahead of time?

    Ahoy, Kristy!

No matter how many times I sail aboard Disney Cruise Line, the talented performers that bring the Broadway-style stage productions to life on the Walt Disney Theatre stage always blows me away. It is what Disney does best, and it amazes me how easy they make it look on a moving ship!

There are two shows scheduled nightly, one for first seating Guests and one for second seating Guests. Guests with dinner at 5:45 p.m. will see the show after dinner at 8:30 p.m. while Guests with 8:15 p.m. dinner will see the show first at 6:15 p.m. There is no reserved seating so it is first-come, first-served. We like to arrive around 15-20 minutes early because my kids like to sit upfront, but you can typically find seats right up until show time. The doors tend to open around 30 minutes prior to the start of the show in case you want to secure a specific spot.

You won't want to miss the nightly entertainment in the Walt Disney Theatre, Kristy! Be sure to keep an eye on your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the details.

Thank you for sending in your question and have a magical day!
