A well seasoned traveler to WDW I am, but with addition of MemoryMaker, I am wondering if I can still take advantage of the basic photopass & if the photos will link to my MagicBand. Will be travelling alone and don't need all the photos

    Hi Megan,

I'm a frequent solo traveler to WDW and had a similar concern to yours. No need to worry, while there is a new Memory Maker product, the old PhotoPass system continues to exist. The only real difference is that for Disney resort guests, the photos will be added to your MagicBand rather than the old coded card system.

When you get a PhotoPass picture taken, the photographer will scan your band instead of a card. (You can still get a card if you ask for one.)

To access your pictures, go to the My Disney Experience tab on the DisneyWorld.com website. Scroll down to the "Photography" menu and you'll see both Memory Maker and PhotoPass as options. Your photos added to a Magic Band will already be there in either system. If you have cards, you can add them manually. You can choose to buy all your photos with PhotoPass, or just select a few that best capture your vacation memories. You can choose to get prints, electronic files, or other products. There's no obligation to buy more than you need or want.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
