Hey there, Mouseketeer!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! As my old friend Daisy Duck would say, “Goody, goody!” You are definitely in for some great news. A Walt Disney World Resort
Annual Pass means more magical moments, more Mickey-shaped treats, and more cool perks when at the Resort.
At the moment, all of the annual passes for Walt Disney World Resort are available for Florida residents. They each have their own unique set of
blockout dates and theme park reservation limits.
Disney Pixie Dust Pass: This annual pass gives you access to the theme parks on most weekdays; however, you’ll want to check the blockout calendar to see exactly which weekdays are available to you. You can also hold up to 3 theme park reservations at a time.
Disney Pirate Pass: As the annual pass tiers increase, the blockout dates decrease. With this pass, you can make and hold up to 4 theme park reservations.
Disney Sorcerer Pass: This is my family’s pass of choice because we love only being blocked out of the theme parks around Thanksgiving time and during the winter holidays. You can make and hold up to 5 theme park reservations at a time.
Disney Incredi-Pass: With this pass, there are no blockout dates, which is pretty nice! This pass is also available to those who live outside of Florida, so if you have any out-of-state family or friends, this could work for them, too. You can hold up to 5 theme park reservations at a time with this annual pass.
You may purchase any of these annual passes on the Walt Disney World Resort website, via the
Annual Passholder hotline, or at the theme parks or Disney Springs. Also, if you’d like to take it up a notch or two, you can add Disney PhotoPass downloads (the photos appear like magic in your
My Disney Experience App) and a Water Parks and Sports Option. If you love water parks, then adding the Water Parks and Sports Option, gives you access to
Disney’s Blizzard Beach or
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon (whichever is open at any given time) and golf and miniature golf experiences.
AN EXTRA GEM: With an annual pass, there are a lot of benefits that my family really appreciates: Free parking when visiting the theme parks (
Disney Springs parking is always free), fun goodies like magnets throughout the year, and discounts on select food and merchandise. And as a Florida resident, you can either pay for your annual pass at the time of purchase or you can make monthly payments, which is a great option for many Guests.
Whichever annual pass that you choose, your decision means that you’ll have so much pixie dust coming your way very soon! Please give us another holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
