Hi! My boyfriend and I were hoping to go to epcot the weekend of the 7th for his birthday but it’s blocked out. does this mean we aren’t able to go at all? or we can only go after 2pm? we don’t want to make the drive out there and not be able to go

Welcome to planDisney, Alexa! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.

If you have an Annual Pass with blockout dates, like the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, or Disney Sorcerer Pass available to Florida residents, your Annual Pass will not gain you entrance to the Theme Parks on a day that is blocked out. Earlier this year, Disney announced that Annual Passholders do not need Disney Park Pass reservations to visit Theme Parks after 2:00 PM, with the exception of Magic Kingdom Park on the weekends, but the regular blockout dates do continue to apply.

That said, Alexa, if you and your boyfriend want to visit EPCOT on a day your Annual Passes are blocked out, you will need to purchase tickets to do so. Since you live in Florida, I recommend checking out the deals that are currently available for Florida residents! These deals and offers change all the time, and something for the date that you're planning to visit might pop up. If you do decide to get Theme Park tickets, you will also need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation even though you are an Annual Passholder, so keep that in mind when you're making your plans!

    Have a magical day, Alexa!
