Are sea sickness patches available (pills ok too)?

    Welcome Aboard, Shawn!

I am so glad you navigated your way to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask your question! If you are concerned about sea sickness, my best advice would be to visit your doctor prior to sailing and ask them about it. The doctor might be able to prescribe a medication for you or your family members, based on your health histories.

Once you are onboard the Disney Cruise Line ship, Bonine pills are generally available. You might also be able to find sea bands in the gift shops. I had a friend sail with me a few years ago, and she loved the sea bands for her nausea.

Our family is lucky that we don't typically experience motion sickness while onboard the ships. In fact, I have only had a few cruises where I really felt the movement of the ship at all.

I hope this helps with your planning for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. Please visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
