What is in scuttles cove at cast away Kay. And will I be Able to drop my 13 year old off with her 10 year old brother there while me and my husband do the 5k.

Welcome, Naveen! We're so very glad you stopped by with your question.

Disney Cruise Line has an absolutely gorgeous private island, Castaway Cay. In keeping with the tradition of amazing activities for children, the island features Scuttle's Cove for the kids, which is a play area for children ages 3-12 who are completely potty trained. Scuttle's Cove has a splash area, sand, and a dig area; and they provide organized activities throughout the day on the island.

Although your 13-year-old won't be able to be signed into Scuttle's Cove, the Edge tween activity center from onboard the ship usually shifts gears to set up organized activities on the island for kids ages 11 - 14. There's a spot on the island called "In Da Shade" where you will usually find the gang from Edge.

You'll want to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so you will know when the activities are taking place on Castaway Cay. Since the Castaway Cay 5K is now done independently, meaning you can begin anytime you wish once you disembark the ship, you can coordinate your run time with the activities for your daughter. Oh, and don't forget to head over to the Bike Rental Station after you've completed the run to pick up your medal!

I hope your whole family has the most fantastic time, Naveen!
