Hi, Kera! I know you must be so excited about your special meal at
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood! This rooftop restaurant was named after the Spanish town that played haven to many talented surrealist artists in the 1930s, and you'll find lots of nods to this reflected in the decor and the cuisine. I can't wait to see it myself, and this is why I booked my anniversary dinner here next month!
There isn't a dress code at Toledo, so you may certainly see guests dining in their theme park attire. However, the atmosphere is slightly upscale. Something we've done in the past is to bring along a small drawstring bag with a change of clothes if we don't have time in our schedule to stop at our Walt Disney World Resort hotel before dinner. Don't worry about getting too fancy- capris and khakis will be completely fine!
Typically, entree items meant for two guests, such as the 'Chuletón' 28 oz. Bone-In Rib-Eye for Two, require one Table-Service entitlement per person on the
Disney Dining Plan, for a total of two credits. Sometimes policies change, however, so you may want to double-check with your server before ordering. My fellow Panelist and friend,
Julie, had the pleasure of dining here recently, and she gave me an excellent review of the food! She said that the Valdeón Blue Cheese and the Olive Oil-poached Tuna with Lemon from the Pintxos section of the menu were two of her favorites, and she also gave a big thumbs up to the Garlic Shrimp 'Pil Pil'. If you're lucky to get a window-side table, you'll also be treated to some spectacular views of the "World!"
I'm getting a Rumbly in my Tumbly just thinking about all this delicious food we're going to have soon, Kera! If you have any more questions about your upcoming trip, please come back and visit us again!
