Are there scooter or wheelchair rental at the park?

Hiya Pal! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for your question today!

We've got ears, say cheers! I am happy to report that wheelchair and ECV rentals are available at Walt Disney World Resort. Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis. Prices for wheelchairs begin at $12 per day. However, you can purchase a length-of-stay ticket, which brings your price down to $10 per day. Keep the ticket receipt and use it at the theme parks you plan to visit. Wheelchairs cannot be removed from the theme park you are visiting. If you need a wheelchair at one of the Disney Water Parks or at Disney Springs, a refundable $100 deposit is required.

ECV Rentals are also available on a first-come, first-served basis at all the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. Prices for ECV rentals are $65 per day, with a $20 refundable deposit. If you are visiting the Disney Water Parks or Disney Springs, a refundable $100 deposit is required. Just like wheelchairs, ECVs cannot be removed from the destination you are visiting. Prices for ECV and wheelchair rentals are subject to change.

If you need to use an ECV or wheelchair outside the theme parks and at your Disney Resort hotel, Walt Disney World has partnered with ScooterBug, a privately owned company based in Central Florida. ScooterBug will deliver your rental to your Disney Resort hotel and manage pick-up when your visit has ended. Rentals can be made online through their website or by calling (800) 726-8284.

Thank you so much for visiting planDisney! If you have additional questions, visit us at any time. As my pal Mickey Mouse says "See ya real soon!"

    Magic Awaits!
