Our school group was offered dining cards. These cards have a specific prepaid amount on them (breakfast $12). Have you heard of such a card? I have researched every possible place for info on these cards and I can't find anything. Please help.

Hi Michelle!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am aware of two types of prepaid dining allowances that are often included for school groups.  Without knowing the specifics of your group's travel package, I will tell you a bit about both types.

The first type is a meal voucher.  Each voucher allows for an entree and beverage (some vouchers also include dessert) at designated Quick Service dining locations.  Locations where it may be used will be listed on the voucher.  The second type is a Youth Dining Card.  The Dining Card works similarly to a gift card.  It will hold a specific dollar amount and can be used at any dining location for meals or snacks.  The Dining Card may not be used to purchase merchandise or packaged snacks at merchandise locations.

I recommend contacting the travel organizer for your group to determine which type of meal allowance is being offered.

I hope that helps!  Let us know if you have additional questions.
