We're scheduled for 1st time ever Disney Vacation in 3 weeks, and we are so excited. I have a question about the rides. I am a plus size mom about 250lbs and I'm worried about not being able to get on the rides with my daughter. Any thoughts?

Hi, Tracy! Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation!  I remember how nervous I was the first time I went as an adult with my kids.  I am a very plus-size person myself (much larger than you - as you can tell from the Moms Panel videos), and I have found Walt Disney World to be a very accommodating place to visit.  I can proudly say that I can ride EVERY ride in all four parks.

You should check out the "WDW at Large" section of the website.  It helped me tremendously in alleviating my anxiety about fitting into rides, theater seats, etc...  before my first trip. There is a wealth of information available there. They even tell you where to ride on specific rides (for example, the front seat or back seat is sometimes roomier).  If you have any specific questions, you can send them directly to me from my Meet the Moms page. I would be more than happy to answer them.  Don't stress! You can have a Magical vacation!
