I am scheduled to stay at swan reserve however the opening date has been changed a few times. Wat happens if it is not open by the time we go on vacation.

    Hi there, Marie!

I am so excited for you! I love hotels, especially brand new ones. I don't know about you, but I never sleep better than when I am laying my head down on a brand-new hotel bed.

When it comes to the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, I am mostly excited that more rooms have been added so close to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You will adore hopping on the Friendship boats to head to the parks, or even grabbing a coffee to take on your morning walk right to the front gates!

Marie, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel is actually owned and operated by a third-party company and not by Walt Disney World Resort. For this reason, you will need to reach out to the hotel directly to see what their backup plan is should the resort's opening be delayed. I would hope that they would move you to a sister property along with giving you a partial refund, or an upgrade, however, I am sure the hotel already has a policy if you are unable to be accommodated.

I just know that you will have a wonderful time, Marie. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!
