We were scheduled to take our sons, their wives, and our Granddaughter last year, the week after they shut down Disney World. We still have our tickets and want to use them in October 2021. What do I need to do?

Hiya, Tammy! Or as I would call you, "Grandma of the year!"

It sounds like you are planning such a fun and fabulous vacation for your family.

The first thing that you will need to do is to make your Walt Disney World Resort hotel arrangements. Once those are secured, you can call all (407) 939-5277 and the friendly Cast Member on the other end of the phone will update your tickets to your new dates.

Once your tickets have been updated, you will need to log into your My Disney Experience Account and make your Disney Park Pass system reservation. These reservations are required for any ticketed person to enter a theme park. You can make your reservations now, so I would go ahead and do this as soon as possible so that you reserve your spot.

Once you have your Disney Park Pass system reservations, you can make your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 60-days in advance.

Tammy, if you haven't heard, there is so much excitement going on in October, and it is actually one of my favorite times to visit. Don't miss a Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. My husband and I love to try all of the snacks at the booths around the World Showcase, while my little ones love completing the scavenger hunts and visiting the Kidcot stations.

Tammy, October 1st is the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. There are expected to be some celebrations coming up, exact details to be announced, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for all the details.

    See you real soon!
