We have scheduled the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage for 2/2/16. The fireworks are scheduled for 8pm. What time should we get there (or when's the latest we can get there to make sure we don't miss anything?) Do you have any tips (side of t

    Hi there Alysse!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to love experiencing Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage during your upcoming trip. According to the official website, the event begins one hour prior to the fireworks scheduled time and Guests are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to the event start time. That being said, I would arrive at Disney's Contemporary Resort Lobby by 6:50 p.m. I would also recommend checking the Magic Kingdom Park calendar a week or two before your trip to make sure the fireworks scheduled time has not changed.

Unfortunately, your question was cut off. I think you were asking if you should sit on one side of the boat. When my family previously sailed the Seven Seas Lagoon on our voyage, we found both sides of the boat to have a great vantage spot for viewing the fireworks. My biggest tip is to not come completely full as there will be a vast array of desserts and treats to enjoy prior to your voyage.  Be sure to bring a camera and possibly autograph books for when you get to meet Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and a surprise guest at the end of your adventure. I hope this information helps. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical voyage, Alysse!

    Happy Planning,
