We are scheduled for main seating at dinner. I thought we might catch a show after dinner, then check the kids into the Oceaneer Club/Lab. I know it runs late, but my youngest is 7. What if she wants to lay down to sleep. Do they allow that?

Welcome aboard, Sherry! Your cruise plans sound very much like ours when we enjoy the Main Dining time onboard one of Disney's ships.

We love to wander a bit after dinner, perhaps catching the family variety act before heading into the Walt Disney Theatre for one of the amazing Broadway-style musicals. Then, the kids are ready to check into the Oceaneer Club and Lab for some fun with their newly found friends and counselors, while my husband and I get to enjoy the after hours district or relax up on deck in the Quiet Cove area.

Many times we've come back to find our kids spread out on mats on the floor of the Oceaneer Club, almost asleep as they watch a Disney movie. You'll see quite a few little heads nodding off or completely asleep on the mats, while other kids seem to have found their second wind and are still going strong! It's nice to know that the counselors provide this wind-down time with a movie and nap maps for the kids when it gets late at night.

I hope you enjoy planning the rest of your sailing. I'm happy to help with any other questions you might have, Sherry! Please don't hesitate to stop back again!
