Welcome to planDisney, Joseph! We are glad you brought your question to us.Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon! I'm sure you want to take care of all those last-minute details so that everything is in place for you to enjoy all the magic of the 50th Anniversary Celebration. While all adults age 18 and up should travel with a photo ID, I understand that most 10-year-olds would not have a photo ID -- mine sure didn't when they were that age! Rest assured, in my dozens of visits to Walt Disney World Resort, my children were never asked to present a photo ID. If all components of your package have been linked to your My Disney Experience account and you have completed Online Check-In, the adults in your party may not need to show a photo ID either. (Although I do absolutely recommend carrying it with you at all times.) There are times when you may be asked to show a government-issued photo ID:
When my kids were old enough to have a photo ID, I did make sure they carried it when going through airport security, and when they were younger I kept a copy of their birth certificates when traveling just in case.I hope I have been able to put your mind at ease. If you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us again -- we are always happy to help. I am wishing you a very magical vacation!Anne Marie
