Ahoy Mary!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to hear that you will be cruising with Captain Mickey this winter! There is no better way to escape the cold than a high seas adventure on the
Disney Fantasy.
One of my favorite things about cruising is all the great food! With all the menus offered in the
rotational dining rooms, there is always something new and different to eat each evening. My son also enjoys trying new things while onboard and often orders from the adult menu when sailing with us.
Your son is very welcome to order off the adults menu in the dining room. If he is participating in the Dine and Play program offered through the youth clubs, he will not have time to eat and enjoy an appetizer, entrée and dessert before the counselors swing by to pick him up. If he is looking for a specific appetizer or entrée prior to the counselors picking him up, you can ask your Head Server to bring it out early and they can try to accommodate if possible.
The Dine and Play program is a great benefit of sailing with Disney Cruise Line and selecting the second seating for dinner. It gives parents time to enjoy a relaxed pace and all the culinary treats the dining rooms offer. Your pirates-in-training get a jump start on their evening at the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab. Everyone enjoys their night out on vacation!
Enjoy making magical memories, Mary! Bon voyage! Angie
