    We are scheduled to go on the Disney Fantasy Cruise in Dec. We found out my husband needs surgery on his foot which will put him in a boot at the time of our cruise. What accomodations can I make for him on the cruise and to get around at Castaway Cay?

    Ahoy Karen!
    I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's foot, and  I hope all goes well with his impending surgery. My advice is to give Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 and have it noted on your reservation that your husband will be in a boot during your sailing.  It is best to give them a heads up that some accommodations may need to be put into place to make sure he has a magical sailing.  There are some special equipment items listed on www.DisneyCruise.com that might be useful to him including the sand wheelchairs on Castaway Cay.  These are free of charge and are first-come, first serve and are located next to the Scuttle's Cove Tram Stop.
