We are scheduled for the Dog Mushing by Helicopter excursion in Juneau in a few short weeks and we are wondering what the temperature might be at the camp. Do we need to pack gloves and hats for our time on the glacier?

    Ahoy Heather!
Thanks so much for writing back!  Your Alaskan adventure on the magnificent Disney Wonder is about to begin!  I'm sure your family is counting down the days until it is your turn to embark on your amazing voyage!
I did some research for you and definitely recommend gloves & hats for your excursion.  It looks like you can expect the temperature to be about 10-15 degrees cooler than Juneau so it might be quite chilly during your experience.  I also suggest having a top layer that is waterproof or windproof and sunglasses to help with the reflection of the sun on the snow.  Layering is really the key during your vacation with temperatures varying day to day and throughout each day.
I hope your family has the most magical time on your Wonder cruise!  Please let me know if you have any other last minute questions!
    Bon Voyage!
