Hey there, Susan!
I love getting two totally different vacations.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is one of my favorite places to stay and one of my
favorite places to eat. Then to leave the serenity of the savanna for adventure on the high seas - well, a
Disney Cruise Line vacation sounds like the perfect way to follow your Disney stay.
At this time, I do not know of any plans for a Covid-19 testing site on
Walt Disney World property. I know that sounds stressful with the
latest protocols to board one of the
Disney Cruise Line Ships. Don't worry, Susan. We've got options.
AdventHealth has urgent care centers not too far off of Disney property that do Covid testing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can make an appointment and use a ride-share service to go to the center. There is a complimentary shuttle to the closest urgent care from your Disney resort, but you'll have to organize that with the front desk. Depending on how busy they are, you may not be able to get a shuttle at your appointment time.
Another option is the at-home testing kits that are proctored. You can order the tests from a third-party vendor before you leave home, and pack them for your trip. Then, in the privacy of your hotel room, you can do the test in the time required to upload it to Safe Passage. Easy peasy. These tests take about 20 minutes, start to finish.
I hope you have a practically perfect voyage, Susan!
