want to schedule trip in March or April of 2019 but calander only goes to Dec. 2018

    Hi there, Brenda!

Ahhh! I love the excitement of planning a Walt Disney World vacation, and I totally get that it can be a bit frustrating to not have all of the information that you need.

If you are trying to book a Disney Vacation Club resort, the calendar there usually only goes about 11 months in advance. DVC members can only book their home resorts at the 11 month window, and if they want to book somewhere that isn't their home resort, they can do it at 7 months in advance. You won't typically see the calendar open up much before then.

If it's Walt Disney World theme park hours you're after, you can usually see the calendar for those times about 180 days in advance. That usually corresponds to when guests can make Disney dining reservations.

For a regular Walt Disney World resort reservation, you can actually call 407-939-1936 and make a reservation for a room only 499 days in advance, even if the calendar doesn't go that far on the website. To book a resort package, you typically have to wait until pricing is available. I would say if history is any indication, 2019 package pricing should be available mid-summer.

    Happy planning!
