Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! It sounds like you're planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth during the
Halloween season - how fun!
This season is usually celebrated at the Disneyland Resort in multiple ways, but the biggest is
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. You can find the dates for these events, which run August 18 through Halloween (October 31), on the
event page. If you're interested in attending one of these events, it was recently announced that general public tickets go on sale starting June 18!
Oogie Boogie Bash is held at Disney California Adventure Park from 6:00-11:00 PM, so that park does close early on event dates to Guests who do not have the special event tickets. However, Disneyland Park is typically scheduled to remain open for it's normal operating hours on these days, so I highly recommend purchasing the
Park Hopper option for those who do not plan to attend Oogie Boogie Bash so they can hop between both parks on event days for added flexibility.
You can find the final schedule on the
Hours & Events Calendar page. This is a really helpful resource to see everything from events, park hours, entertainment schedules, and even attractions that will be down for refurbishment. This schedule is available about six weeks from the current date, so you'll be able to see this final events schedule for early October by around late August-early September.

Disney Parks Blog to stay updated with all the fun happening around the Happiest Place on Earth during the Halloween season. There are frequently articles posted that do deep dives on all the magical extras offered around the parks during events, seasons, and celebrations.
