So here in SC its snowing. My daughter of 5 told me to ask a very concerning question what will the weather be like for Spring Break? What should we wear? Lastly how will the crowds be? This our first "Big" vacation so its kinda making me nervous

Hello, my fellow South Carolinian! I bet you are staring at the weather reports like I am today. Not sure where in South Carolina you are, but we are expecting 4-6" of snow tonight, just in time for my 40th birthday tomorrow. This may be my most favorite birthday present ever!

Tell your daughter she does not need to worry about a frozen spring break, unless she plans to hang out with Elsa too long. Mid-March through April are usually beautiful months in Orlando, with high temperatures around mid-70s to low 80s, and low temperatures in the 60s.I do not start paying attention to the weather until the week prior to our trips, as it changes frequently. I would plan on packing outfits that can be layered, as the days sometimes start off cool, warm quickly and then are cool in the evening.

Spring break crowds from mid-March to April are usually among the heaviest of the year. I think everyone has had enough of winter by that point and use the school holiday as an excuse to enjoy some sunshine. You can still have a lot of fun if you plan your days wisely. I make the most of our time during busy weeks by entering the parks as they open each day, taking a midday break to escape the crowds and to swim/rest, and then coming back into a park for evening entertainment. I use the crowd calendars at www.easywdw.com to help me pick the best park to visit each day, and then I print their "Cheat Sheets" to use as a great park touring template.

I hope you and your family have a fun snow day tomorrow! Just keep dreaming of your warm days ahead at Walt Disney World Resort.
