When it says the characters meals are from 8-11:15, does that mean you have to be done eating by 11:15 and get out or is 11:15 the last reservation time? If you get the last one, do the characters still stay around for you? Do you have to scarf it down?

The stated end time of the meals at WDW is the time when the last reservation is taken. If breakfast ends at 11:15, that means that new guests will be being seated up until that point. You could expect that guests will remain in the restaurant enjoying their food and the characters for at least another hour. You will not be rushed through your food and you will certainly have an opportunity to meet all of the characters that are scheduled to appear at that meal.

I have actually found that I get slightly more attention from the characters if I have a late meal seating. As other guests finish and leave the restaurant, the characters have fewer people to interact with. This means that instead of passing by your table once, you may find that characters stop at your table two or even three times. This is not guaranteed, but it has been my experience.

Have a great time dining with the characters at WDW!
