Hi Jennifer,
Now that "The Happiest Place on Earth" has opened up its gates again, I bet you're excited to return to the magic!
At this point in the
phased reopening, all Guests visiting Disneyland Resort must be California residents. You'll need to have a valid California address on your Disney account to even
purchase a ticket, then confirm that you are a current California resident when making your
theme park reservations. You may also be asked to show identification when you arrive at the gate. While I'm sure you're looking forward to making memories with your entire group, anyone who is not currently a California resident will need to wait a bit longer until they're able to visit. We don't know yet when the residency requirement will be lifted, but I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog or
Disney's social media channels for announcements and updates and keep wishing on a star! Just like the lyrics from "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" say, "If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true!"
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Jennifer, and please let us know if we can help with anything else.
Whenever you're able to visit Disneyland Resort, I hope your experience is truly magical!
Missy
