Hi, when they say that you can reserve dining up to 10 days, is your arrival day included in that? If we are staying for ten nights, Aug 14-24, it is actually ten nights but eleven days. So when would I be able to make a reservation on the 24th? Thanks!

    Hi Karen,

Welcome back to planDisney! I hope you're getting excited for your summertime getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth! It will be here before you know it!

I'm happy to let you know that when your dining reservation window opens 60 days before your Disney Resort hotel check-in date, you'll be able to make reservations for the first ten days of your stay at that point. You'll be able to book any additional days' reservations on a rolling basis, one day at a time. So for your 11th day, you'll be able to book that one day later, which would be 59 days before your check-in. I'm not sure if you're a morning person, but reservations do open as early as 5:45 AM, so I'd encourage you to set an alarm and get up early to start making your plans. I'm not usually a morning person, but when something Disney is involved, I'm all for it!

With such a long stay, you'll have quite an advantage for scoring some of those hard-to-find reservations! If you're wanting to dine somewhere like Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella's Royal Table, or California Grill, which are all quite popular, I'd encourage you to look for those openings first, and the later into your trip you look, the greater the chance you'll find availability that lines up with your plans. I'm sending pixie dust that you'll find the perfect dining reservations for your visit!

Thanks so much for visiting us again at planDisney, Karen, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming! I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation this summer!
