I saw something about waking up Tinkerbell at WDW each morning. I wasn't sure what it was and where to go. Do you know anything about this? We are going to WDW in Oct for my daughter's 6 b-day and I thought this would be something different to do.

    Hi Julia,

I've read about waking up Tinker Bell at the Magic Kingdom too, I've never done it but it does sound fantastic. From what I've read it happens in the Fantasyland shop Tinker Bell's Treasures. The very first person to ask each day gets to wake Tinker Bell up by tapping on a small chest 3 times whilst saying "wake up Tinker Bell". Then the magic happens, Tink flies around the room in a dazzling display of lights and sounds! A certificate is often issued to the helper stating that they woke Tinker Bell.

It sounds a very fun and magical thing to do but I have heard that as lots of people now know about it it's sometimes a bit of a stampede to the shop. I wouldn't mention it to your daughter to avoid disappointment but I would get to MK before opening and head straight to Fantasyland once the rope drops for the best chance!

    Good luck,

    Jo
