Welcome to planDisney! It looks like a Western Caribbean voyage on the beautiful
Disney Treasure is on the horizon. Soon you'll be hearing the magical horns (15 in fact!) play their familiar tunes as you sail out to sea towards paradise. It's the best feeling to know your vacation is finally underway. I know you can't wait.
Ron, it sounds like staying connected is important, and the good news is you can use WhatsApp, along with iMessage, onboard by connecting to the
DCL-Guest WiFi without purchasing an
internet package through Disney Cruise Line. You will only be able to send and receive texts, so you'll have to save those vacation photos and videos for disembarkation day. Once the ship sets sail, turn your phone to airplane mode and join the network to start messaging. It's as easy as that!
Having 7 days to enjoy this spectacular vessel is a treasure, Ron. I have a few recommendations for you to experience next week. First, I love the interactive adventures with the ship's storytellers, Coriander and Sage. If you see them in the Grand Hall, be prepared to stop, and don't miss out on "Choose Wisely: An Indiana Jones Comedy Adventure" in
Sarabi.
Disney The Tale of Moana is an amazing production with the most talented cast of performers in the
Walt Disney Theatre. Be sure to line up early for this one. The puppetry used is incredible! I also enjoy wandering around the Grand Hall to see all the Disney memorabilia and taking the stairs both forward and aft to appreciate the artwork. The attention to detail is meticulous from stem to stern!
