I saw a show on the food network about the Gingerbread displays and am planning a trip to see them, It would be a huge help to know where they are so I can plan a full day of just touring the displays. Judi Greer

Great question!  We just returned from WDW, and saw most of these displays in person -- truly amazing!  The locations of the main gingerbread displays are:

Grand Floridian lobby: Life-sized gingerbread house [be sure to ask for a sample at the gingerbread house store!!]
Polynesian resort (second floor, near the monorail entrance): Display of several hawaiian themed gingerbread houses
Beach Club lobby: Life-sized carousel (three horses) made mostly of gingerbread (and chocolate!)
Boardwalk resort lobby: Santa's workshop gazebo (with Donald and Daisy Duck), made mostly of gingerbread. Also includes a train set.
Contemporary resort lobby: Gepetto's toy shop with Pinocchio, made mostly of gingerbread

Honorable mentions: Yacht Club resort lobby and the American Pavilion (Epcot) holiday train set displays, as well as the holiday trees at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Wilderness Lodge -- also all well worth a look!

Since these displays are distributed across the property, you might want to figure out when you will be closer to these locations and visit them accordingly over a few days.  Otherwise, you'll be doing a lot of driving (I wouldn't even try using the WDW transportation - too much waiting and transferring would be involved) all across WDW.

    Happy Holidays!  ºoº
