Hi Stephanie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited that you will heading to the Walt Disney World Resort this Saturday!
Autumn is a great time to explore the parks and your little one is going to have a great first visit!
My youngest daughter was just 4 months old when she visited the theme parks for the first time. She was happy as a clam riding in her baby carrier, on my body at all times! She explored the Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot with me and the rest of the family, always facing my chest. Even on attractions, she did not face forward, and I never had a problem. She also spent much of that time sleeping. Cast Members were very accommodating!
During your adventures with your little one, make sure to check out the
Baby Care Centers available to you at all four theme parks. They offer a clean, quiet and air-conditioned space for you to feed, nurse and change your baby. They also sell baby items like diapers, diaper cream and baby food, just in case you forget something!
Stephanie, you should also take advantage of the
Rider Switch service. It allows the adults in your party (who take turns watching the baby) to be able to experience attractions without having to wait in the line for them a second time.
I hope you and your family enjoy your baby’s first visit to the happiest place on earth! Before you know it, you’ll be chasing a toddler around the parks, so take lots of pictures! Have a magical visit!
