I saw that restaurant reservations open up 60 days out. Well this week we were on day 64 and the entire week of thanksgiving opened up for reservations. We had plans to wake up at 3:45 am to book restaurants. Since this happened we missed making many. Why

    Welcome to planDisney, Jessica!

That sounds like such a frustrating experience! Now, a couple of things could have happened here. The first thing I wonder about is if you were the victim of a computer glitch, but this is purely my guess.

Jessica, guests of the Disney Resorts Collection may book their reservations for their entire stay 60-days from their check-in date. With late November being a popular time to visit I do expect that many reservations were already taken when your booking window opened.

Once I logged into the My Disney Experience Mobile App I saw that reservations are currently available at several locations for that week, although I am searching for a party of 4. If you have a larger party, you may not be seeing any availability. If that is the case, I recommend that you break your party into smaller groups for reservations.

Jessica, I do not want you to stress about dining reservations. I actually get most of my reservations once I arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Constantly checking is the key! As people's plans change, you can often grab those cancelations.

With your week being so popular, keep trying before you arrive. I just know you will find something soon.

    Sending luck your way!
