Hey there Rose and welcome back to planDisney. I know you are eager to experience the relaxed atmosphere where the "outdoor" dining area is surrounded by hanging paper lanterns and glowing fireflies. The Blue Bayou Restaurant transports me instantly to Louisianna.

I have also had difficulty securing a reservation at the Blue Bayou Restaurant because of the limited number of reservations and the size of the restaurant. When we were there a few weeks ago we were able to join the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability list which you can do through the Disneyland App or in person. Danielle, gave you solid advice as more reservations may open closer to your late January visit.

My advice is to keep doing what you are doing and checking first thing in the morning. You are doing all the right things and it is a matter of being online (or the app) at the right time to catch an available reservation as Guests change their minds all the time.

Rose, with faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust I'm sure you will dine on some delicious creole dishes in the "Happiest Place on Earth." Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
