Greetings Rose!
Welcome to planDisney! The
Blue Bayou Restaurant is such a gem, isn't it? This Creole girl has been loving it since I was a tiny Mouseketeer. Ah, I can imagine the vibes now: the calm elegance, twinkling firefly lights, the gentle scent of water,
Pirates of the Caribbean boats drifting by, and of course, the mouthwatering flavors of the Big Easy
perched upon your plate.
Rose, Blue Bayou is such a popular location that getting a dining reservation here has always been hard to come by. I was able to confirm that the area is undergoing renovations during the week of January 7th and is not accepting reservations for dining that week. However, I also tried checking for your January 25th visit, but alas, no tables are available. My pal,
Panelist Amanda D, is a regular guest of the Blue Bayou, and she let me know that this location can sometimes open up reservations closer to the date, even though the resort usually opens them up
60 days in advance. My tip? Keep an eye on the dining website leading up to your visit. Oh, and here's a trick I've used: the walk-up list. If it's all booked online, swing by the restaurant in person as soon as they open to check if they have any tables available for the day.
I know it's not the news you were hoping for, Rose. But please feel free to
send me another question, and I'll get you a quick answer. I'd love to share more of
my favorite tips to help make your Disney dreams come true!
See ya real soon,
Danielle
