    Saw on a recent post that Tink and friends will soon have their very own meet and greet - anyone know the exact opening date? We arrive on Oct 7 for a weeks stay, wondering if we will be lucky enough to catch her, the girls adore the faries! Thanks!

    The only official date I have read so far for the opening of the Disney Fairies meet 'n' greet is "late October."  I also know that the new Tinker Bell DVD will be released on October 28, 2008. Putting those two together, I wouldn't be surprised if the official opening were very close to, if not exactly on October 28.  But that's just my guess. 

    I also know that WDW often (but not always) has "soft launches" of new attractions, which means that a new attractions might be informally open early so the attraction can be tested and improved before it is officially opened. So, even though it appears that you probably won't be at WDW when the Disney Fairies meet 'n' greet is officially open, I would recommend you visit the area to see if there might be a "soft opening" that you can experience.  I'll cross my fingers for you, but please don't get your hopes up too high.
