I saw a question from 2022 asking about microwaves. The reply said you can order them to your room if available. Is that still true in 2024? I am staying in All Star Movie.

Lights! Camera! Action! Thanks for stopping by on your way to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Brittany! planDisney is here for your close-up, so let's talk about special requests during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Roll 'em!

I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who said a limited number of microwaves are available at most resorts for guests with medical needs such as food allergies. These are distributed on a case-by-case basis, so there's no guarantee. I suggest you reach out to Disney Resort Hotel Reservations if you feel you have a need that qualifies you for a microwave. They can make a note in your account, and Cast Members will typically do all they can to help.

Another tip is to contact the Special Dietary Requests team with any allergy concerns. They can offer tips and advice on planning your visit and meals. For assistance, email them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

If you don't qualify for a microwave in your room, you are welcome to use the World Premier Food Court microwave at the resort to heat food and beverages. My family loves purchasing refillable drink mugs when we arrive so we can start and end our day with free refills of our favorite sips. My dad called it our "Mug Walk" because we'd all proudly carry our mugs to the food court! It's a memory and tradition I treasure.

Brittany, I'm so glad you found us here at planDisney. We love helping guests prepare for their time at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I know Mickey Mouse will roll out the red carpet for you!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
