I saw where you posted that stateroom 8598 on the Magic is slightly bigger than other Category 4 staterooms. How much bigger? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Rani! I'm glad you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, as it sounds like you might be planning a Disney cruise! How exciting!

Stateroom 8598 is considered at Category 4E on the Disney Magic. I referred to the 4E being larger as the guest who asked the question had previously asked questions regarding her Category 5 stateroom. The 4E staterooms are larger than the Category 5 rooms. All Category 4 staterooms are actually the same size of 304 square feet and sleep up to five guests. 4E's have a solid white wall verandah, and the other 4's have clear verandahs, so the 4E is the least expensive usually of the Category 4 Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah, however it is slightly more than Category 5's due to size. Category 5 staterooms have 268 square feet and are considered Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah, sleeping three or four guests.

When you play around with itineraries on the Find A Cruise page of Disney Cruise Line's website, you can choose a ship, date and itinerary, then you'll be able to view the staterooms categories and prices available. Each category will show you the square footage, so that might help.

I hope those details help clear up the confusion and answer your question, Rani! Please stop back with any further questions as you continue to plan your sailing! I'm happy to help!
