I just saw an offer for Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc advance purchase for $119.00. If I purchase now but will not be at Disney World until February 2015, is there an expiration date? I understand that the photos will be available for 45 days.

    Hi there Janet,

Thank you for writing us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm excited to hEAR you are making plans to capture your magical memories while visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.

The Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc is a great option if you are wanting to put your photos on a CD taken by the Disney PhotoPass Photographers. However, looking at the website, it says the "downloads expires 30 days after the date of purchase." You will not want to pre-purchase the Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc until right before your vacation that way it does not expire.

I suggest the Memory Maker. The Memory Maker option allows Guests to download photos as well. These photos would include the same photos taken by the Disney PhotoPass Photographers taken throughout the Disney Theme Parks but would also photos taken at dining locations and the attractions. You would be able to download the photos to your personal computer and save them to a CD or USB. The photos will expire 45 days from when they are taken. If you purchase Memory Maker prior to arrival it is approximately $149.95 plus tax. If you purchase it at the theme parks it is approximately $199.95 plus tax.

I hope you have a magical time on your trip. If you have any more questions, please write us back, we're here to help you plan your next pixie-dust Disney vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
