    I saw that the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland will be closing for refurbishment in early September. Is that scheduled to last a while? I’m going September 19 & 20.

    Thanks for submitting your question to us and I love that you're asking about one of my favorite attractions, the Indiana Jones Adventure! I still remember when this beloved attraction originally opened in 1995. I occupied the wait times by translating and memorizing all the Maraglyph messages throughout the nearly quarter mile long queue!

    When checking the Disneyland Resort Daily Schedule, Indiana Jones Adventure is listed as Closed for Refurbishment beginning on September 9, 2024 through September 13, 2024. It is no longer listed as Closed on September 14, 2024, so I'm hoping that means that Disney is anticipating a relatively short down time for this refurbishment cycle and that it'll be open for you during your visit! Unfortunately, I can't take a trip through the Chamber of Destiny into the Observatory of the Future to see what will happen, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! 

    Fun Fact: Early in the queue, you'll see an old diesel truck prop that no longer appears to run. This was an actual screen used truck for filming the famous desert chase sequence in Raiders of the Lost Ark, released in 1981. 

    Since you'll be visiting over Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, be sure to catch Haunted Mansion Holiday over in New Orleans Square! You might get to see some neat new features added to the queue!
