we saw a group of people go behind the curtain to meet the cast of the festival of the lion king, how do you get to do that as my daughter would love to meet the cast. she loves that play.a employee there told me its who you know but thats so unfair

    Hi Patricia,

I am not sure how you can meet the cast of the show behind the curtain. The cast member was correct that you would have to know someone. It could have been a cast member's family who is visiting that was invited to meet the rest of the cast or it could have been part of Make a Wish.

Disney holds its backstage area as very private as they want to preserve the magic for the guests. Unlike other theme parks, Disney cast members are always on "stage" when they are in the public areas which is huge. These backstage areas allow cast to change costumes and take a break from being on stage.

You may be able to see the cast after the show and you could ask a cast member at the front if there will be a photo opportunity after the show.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
