I saw there is a grocery delivery company, but are there any other options when staying on Disney properties?

    Hi Rosalie!

I can completely relate to your need to have options for groceries while staying at Walt Disney World. I have several special dietary needs, so I have to make sure I have specific food items. Garden Grocer is one grocery delivery service that will deliver groceries directly to your room at your Walt Disney World resort. They are wonderful because they have a wide variety of groceries to choose from.

Each of the Walt Disney World resorts have their own stores that have a variety of groceries, souvenirs, snacks and beverages. Depending upon what you are looking for, and the resort in which you are staying, you may find what you need.

For example, at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort you can actually order your groceries ahead of time by filling out the Grocery Order Form. You can choose from a variety of items, including canned beans, bacon, deli meat, soup, bread, coffee and more.

I have found that the resorts that have villas with kitchenettes have more of a grocery selection than others. At Saratoga Springs Resort, they had a great selection of groceries in the on-site store. However, some of the other resorts have a limited selection.

You can also ship a box of non-perishable grocery items to yourself at the resort and it will be there when you arrive. There may be a charge, so make sure to call ahead of time to check the cost and instructions for sending.

    Magically,
    Stacy
