I saw an earlier post regarding service your way for room cleaning. If you choose to not have daily service would you be giving up the option for clean towels? What all does this entail. An extra $10 sounds like a good idea for the kids.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brandi! Thank you for stopping by with your question! How exciting you have started to make plans for your trip! Isn't it a lot of fun to be thinking about the rides you'll be going on, the meals you'll be having and of course your hotel room?

The Service Your Way Program is available at value and moderate resorts at the Walt Disney World Resort. This program allows you to decline housekeeping services during your stay and receive a Disney Gift Card based on the length of your stay in exchange. You will receive a $10-per-night credit, except for the last night. Your Service Your Way gift card will be sent to the email address associated to your reservation; if the email doesn't arrive within four hours (it usually takes seconds to hit your inbox) you can stop by the Front Desk at your resort hotel for assistance. Please be aware that visual inspections will continue to be conducted even when opting out of Housekeeping Services.

Mom Tip: If you choose to take advantage of this program, you can call Guest Services or Housekeeping on your Resort room telephone to get trash removed, and/or request toiletries and fresh towels whenever you need them! I have used this program in the past and everyone in my party loved the souvenirs we got with the extra $, who wouldn't, right?

Brandi, I hope this has helped a bit. I hope you have the most pixie-dusted vacation of all!

    See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
