I saw that certain dining reservations require a credit c/ard. Do they charge a deposit? Will they charge my card if I use the dining plan or will they only charge it if I don''t show

    Hi Megan,

When you make your Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) at select Disney restaurants, you will be required to provide a credit card to hold the reservation. This card will not be charged when you make the ADR. However, if you do not cancel your ADR with 24 hour notice, your card will be charged $10 per person for not canceling the reservation.  When you book a reservation, the cancellation policy will be stated to you.

This new policy will help guests find seats for their dining needs. This allows Disney to have an accurate count of who is going to be dining in a given restaurant. I love it because I can now call the day of for a reservation and might have a shot of getting into a restaurant at the last minute.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
