I saw an article you had written about MVMCP in which you had a low-res snapshot of a nutrition info sheet for the free goodies. My son has type 1 diabetes - could you post the carb counts, I couldn't quite read them. We go this year. Thanks!,,

    Hi Angie,

I know exactly which photo you're talking about. I went and checked my original image, but unfortunately the resolution is not great there either. The only carb count I can definitely see is the sugar free cookies had 19g total carbs per serving.

I have to say that I'm actually glad that I can't see more on the photo. Particularly in cases of health related issues, I want to make sure that you have the best possible information. The photo I posted is from the 2011 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It's quite possible that Disney could be using different brands or different vendors for their Special Diets party treats this year. I'd hate for you to make plans with inaccurate data.

To get the most up-to-date information on food related issues, you should contact the Special Diets department at Disney directly, at least two weeks prior to your trip. They can be reached at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and should be able to give you detailed nutritional information about food offerings at the parks and resorts. Additionally, there will be a book like the one I posted about behind the counter at all Quick Service restaurants. You'll be able to see information on site with the most recent food offerings so you can double check before offering food to your son.

Have a great time at the party!
