    I saw you answered a question about Thanksgiving meals. Do these places not release their reservations until closer till the day. I was trying to book a reservation for Liberty Tree and they have no reservations or does this mean they are already booked?

    Hi Michele!
    Thanks for visiting the Walt Disney World Moms panel!  You are not the first guest to wonder about Thanksgiving availability at the Disney theme park restaurants.  The most authentic Turkey Day meal can be had a Magic Kingdom's Liberty Tree Tavern.  Unfortunately, Liberty Tree is not showing availability for this date.  This could be due to LT being booked solid, or they have not released all availability for that particular date.  There have been several issues with many of the Epcot restaurants not being bookable for Thanksgiving, and that happened to be a certain glitch in the computer system, which has, to my knowledge been resolved.  Although that is not the case here, it goes to show that WDW is not immune to these anomalies. 
    My best recommendation to you is to keep checking the Dining Reservations page of the Walt Disney World website periodically to see if there are any cancellations.  It is not unheard of for guests to book a ressie and then cancel it closer to the date as their plans change.  Their loss can be your gain!
